Privacy Policy

• Account details — your name, email address, username and, if you sign in with Google, your Google profile name and picture.
• Study profile — your class or level, examination board, subjects, timezone and preferences.
• What you do in the app — questions answered, lessons read, study time, streaks, and the messages you send to Ryder.
• What you upload — files, images of questions, and voice notes.
• Billing and usage — your plan, requests to upgrade or cancel, refunds, referral codes, and how much of your allowance you use.

• to run the Service: answer your questions, mark your work and track your progress;
• to tailor what you study to your board, level and subjects;
• to enforce plan allowances, process upgrades, cancellations and referral rewards;
• to keep the Service secure and to understand, in aggregate, how it is used.

To answer you, what you send to Ryder — messages, images and voice notes — is passed to AI model providers through OpenRouter. Depending on the task these include DeepSeek, Z.ai (GLM), Alibaba (Qwen) and Google (Gemini). We send only what the task needs, and each provider handles it under its own terms.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your messages to advertise to you.

• Supabase — our database and sign-in.
• Vercel — hosting for the website and app.
• OpenRouter and the model providers above — AI processing.
• Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google.

Many of our users are school students. Students under 18 should use Qurricular with a parent's or guardian's knowledge. A parent or guardian can contact us to see or delete a student's data.

We use a small number of first-party cookies, and no advertising cookies:

• sign-in cookies that keep you logged in;
• q_terms — remembers that you accepted these documents while you sign in;
• q_ref — remembers a friend's referral code while you sign up;
• q_career — remembers a career you chose on our career pages while you sign up, for up to 7 days.

We keep your data while your account is open. When you delete your account we remove your personal data, except records we must keep — such as payments and refunds — which we keep only as long as the law requires.

You can see and change your profile in Settings, and you can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account, by writing to us.

Data is encrypted in transit, access to it is restricted, and database tables are closed to direct public access. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect what you trust us with.
